“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.” – Vincent Van Gogh
There’s been a lot of disturbing stuff in the news lately. If you’re a sensitive person, it can really get you down if you let it.
That’s the catch – IF you let it.
How do you stay grounded in a place of peace when the world around you seems to be falling apart?
For one, by remembering that healing can be painful at times.
We’ve entered a period of incredible transformation on the planet. The global consciousness is shifting to a higher point of view.
Change of that degree will inevitably shake things up. And it will meet with plenty of resistance. Dark energies don’t like to give up power.
Remember that what you focus your attention on grows stronger. So while it’s ok to grieve, and those who suffer do need to be acknowledged, be careful that your attention to them stays focused on the Light. Depression, fear, resentment, hate – all these reactions, while certainly understandable, simply feed the darkness.
And for another, by remembering that we are not alone.
There is power in numbers. There is power in purpose. And there is power in Love.
When you combine all three, amazing things happen.
The power of Love and Light is always stronger than that of darkness. That’s because at its core, Light works through cooperation, and the darkness through division.
It’s time for us who feel called to the Light to join forces. To step forward together and meet the darkness en masse.
Even very tiny actions, when done by many people in unison, create powerful healing thunder.
Which brings me to the inspiration for this message.
My friend, Karen Riordan Palmer, an amazing woman who is dedicating her life to Peace and Light, has started a campaign for World Peace on Thunderclap.
Thunderclap is an app that lets a message be heard when you and your friends say it together. Think of it as an “online flash mob.”
How it works is, you simply click a link to show your support by sharing a single message on your Facebook, Twitter, and/or Tumblr feed at a pre-scheduled time. (It takes about 15 seconds and doesn’t cost a thing.)
That way, instead of shares trickling out over days, they all happen at once. The message then gets amplified many hundreds of times and becomes a powerful statement that’s impossible to ignore.
Karen’s message is to spread the word about one of the largest #GlobalPeaceInitiative events ever: the 2nd World Parliament on Spirituality that will take place this November, right on the heels of the U.S. Presidential election.
The goal of the event is to create a Global Peace Initiative and Master Action Plan for Peace for the purpose of increasing the level of love, prosperity, and peace in the world.
Karen has been working tirelessly helping organize this event and spreading the word about it.
She can’t do it by herself.
Together, though, our separate small voices can become one giant ROAR for Peace!
One quick share is a tiny little gesture, I know, but if we all make it together you’ll be amazed at the power it can generate.
If this message resonates with you even a little, please click the link and share your support (by clicking the red buttons on the center of the page.)
As of this writing Karen is just 11 supporters short of her goal of 100 supporters. If she doesn’t reach it, the message doesn’t go out. One tiny little action by that 100th supporter (and the 99th, and the 98th…) will make it all possible.
And imagine the opportunities for peace that could open up as a result, all over the planet.
Who will the 100th one be? Will it be you?
